When she arrives at Victors, she finds him out playing golf. He's happy to see her and is surprised that she's grown up and looks like Marion. Amy shows Victor her and Spartan's attempt at jumping and he refuses again, Victor decides to take Amy for a walk to try to get her to open up. On their walk, Victor asks questions about Spartan and what happened to him but when Amy clams up he tries to change direction, they continue talking about Spartan and Amy tells her he's a jumper but doesn't compete anymore. Amy asks if he has a plan and he tells her like the river, he doesn't think about where he's going or where he's been just goes with the flow. The next day, Victor's playing golf and Amy appears and starts asking about his and Marion's relationship. He tells her that they were more than friends, they met at a mustang rally where she tried to rescue a horse about to be put down. Victor takes Amy to the spirit of life (or medicine wheel) and explains it's purpose. With the four directions it represent the four aspects of self; emotions, physical body, mind and spirit. It needs to be kept in balance or the person will be off centre, when you are in the centre you open yourself up to connect with other people and horses. When he instructs Amy to go through the east doorway and stand in the centre Victor has disappeared. Later, Victor tells Amy that the last time he saw Marion she had lost her way and came looking for answers. She found peace and quiet and was able to open her heart, to find the answer she was looking for, were already inside herself. He tries to help Amy release things in her mind that she doesn't need to hold onto. The next day, she's able to give up control and Spartan leads her over the jumps freely. (Full Circle)
