Synopsis[]
When a road trip goes awry Jack and Lisa find themselves lost in the woods, but a trip down memory lane may just help them find their way together.
Plot[]
Jack and Lisa are lost and stranded, out of gasoline with no cellphone reception. They unload Cinders from the trailer and proceed on foot but become lost in the woods. They think about their relationship. Cinders is panicked by a thunderstorm and runs off while Jack and Lisa are sleeping; they find him in a gully and can't get him out. Jack sets out alone until he can call Amy, who arrives with Ty to rescue them. Jack and Lisa drive back and Lisa prepares to accept the purchase offer for Fairfield. Jack tells her that he loves her, asking her to stay and be with him. Tim brings Jade to Heartland while Dr. Virani is away and pushes responsibility for her onto Amy. Jade and Georgie trade accusations and pull tricks on each other involving Georgie's 4-H lamb, Clover. They discover common ground and the beginning of a friendship. Amy attempts to make Ty a birthday cake, which they try to eat in the loft.

- Lou is on the book tour, making this the third consecutive episode where she is absent.
- Georgie is the only member of the family that appears as Peter and Katie went to see Lou to get rid of their baby daughter missing mommy stress.

- Ashley and Soraya appear in this episode via archival footage.
- Ashley gets a full view while only Soraya's dress, legs, and left arm are shown.
- This is Jade's second appearance in the series.
- The friendship of Georgie and Jade begins in this way: Georgie initially believes Jade stole her necklace, then realizes she had misplaced it. Jade gets back at Georgie by hiding Clover, the lamb she and Olivia were doing for their project, upon realizing Tim forgot to stack him with the other sheep. Georgie then realizes what Jade did and hides Clover in an outhouse to make Jade think she killed him. After this, they high five.
- This episode reveals that Jack takes pills.
- Amy and Ty celebrate the latter's birthday in this episode.
- Amy attempts to make a cake as she mentioned in the preceding episode. They end up celebrating it a day later.
