Past Imperfect is the fourteenth episode of Season 11 of Heartland. It aired February 4, 2018.
Synopsis[]
Lou recalls all of her past relationship troubles after what happened at her high school reunion. A threat from Ty's past in Mongolia arrives in Hudson, putting the entire Heartland family in danger. Ty and Amy are rattled when they find their home broken into. Georgie finally tells Adam about her and Wyatt.
Plot[]
We first see a minivan that is on the ridge looking at Heartland. Ty gives a backpack sling to Georgie and tells her that it brought him luck in Mongolia. The Aussie poacher from Mongolia, Ellis follows Ty and Amy to see their routines. Amy and Ty's house is broken into by Ellis who almost killed Ty and Batta. Georgie and Adam are at the wildlife reserve feeding and caring for animals because Ty asked them to. Georgie brought the backpack sling with her full of waters and snacks. She asks Adam if he wants water but cannot open it because the zipper is stuck. Georgie and Adam realize there is something stuck in the seams so the cut it open to find a flash drive but they can't open it since it has a password. When Ty is alone at the vet clinic, Ellis shows up and demands his backpack with his flash drive be returned to him. A llama has escaped and Adam doesn't go with Georgie to find it. When Georgie is out, Ty calls her asking for the backpack sling back but is acting weird and Georgie asks Ty if he wants it back because of the flash drive. Ty tells Georgie to stay at the reserve and he will come to them. Adam was able to bypass the password and get into the flash drive the back door. It reveals a spreadsheet with names of people part of an exotic animal trading network, but Ty insists that he have the backpack sling with the flash drive and goes home. Lou comes upstairs with Lyndy bringing a present that was left on the back porch for Lyndy and insists Ty open it. Ty opens it and it is a rattle made of scull. When Lou leaves, Ty gets a phone call from Ellis telling Ty to meet him at the bridge on 370 to give the backpack sling and flash drive back. In the house, Georgie reveals that she and Adam found a flash drive and Lou tells the family about the weird phone conversation she overheard after she talked to Ty. Ty goes to meet Ellis, and it seems alright but Ellis notices that Ty found the flash drive and pulls a gun on Ty. He insists that Ty drive and get in his car. Ty knocks Ellis over and is able to grab the gun just as the police roll up to arrest Ellis. At home, we find out the flash drive was damaged but that Adam made a copy which will lead to more arrests in the future.
