Parker Yang is Jade Virani’s step sister.
History[]
Season 14[]
She is first seen outside of Lou's office protesting pesticides being used to kill bees. Later she is brought to Heartland with her horse Mickey while her dad is on his honeymoon with Tricia Virani and Jade is at a rodeo. It is revealed that her father is a marriage counselor and her mother is a psychologist. Her parents divorced prior to her father moving to Hudson. She came to Hudson as her mother was on a book tour.
During the course of her stay at Heartland, she shows that she is afraid to ride him, until Amy shows her how to ride. When her mother returns, she told Parker that she wanted Parker to live with her, but Parker does not want to because she will have to leave Mickey. Mrs. Yang allows Parker to move in with her dad, so she is able to keep working with Mickey.
When the Equestrian center is in trouble of not becoming reality, she steps up to help raise funding. This includes her filming Amy as she works with one of the horses, now named Challenge, at the property.
Season 15[]
Parker develops a crush on Logan.
Season 16[]
Parker grows jealous when Logan likes Katie's idea to white water rafting instead of a picnic. Later she is jealous when a popular girl texted her wanting Katie's number to invite her to a party.
Trivia[]
- When Katie is portrayed by Ziya Matheson, they looked to be the same age. However when the actress is switched, they don't look the same age.
