Mr RB Mallen is the former abusive owner of Spartan.
Marion and Amy steal Spartan from his farm in the middle of a storm, he argues with them and threatens to call the police. (Coming Home) Mr. Mallen turns up to The Fall Finale where Amy is competing, he demands to have Spartan back after Val Stanton calls him. [Lou Fleming|Lou]] manages to by some time telling him to let Amy compete to bump up the price of Spartan. Really, she's just trying to get Mr. Mallen away from Amy and Spartan. After Amy wins the Fall Finale, Mr. Mallen returns for Spartan which is when Lou gives him the bill for Spartan's stay at Heartland. Lou pushes the bill as high as she can. Mr. Mallen is furious and storms off leaving Spartan with Amy (Coming Together)
