Background[]

When she and her older brother, Jack Bartlett, were young, they were considered to be quite close to each like siblings like brothers or sisters other due to their father always drinking and being mistrustful It was June who let Jack to go follow his dreams of being in the rodeo while she stayed behind with plans to help her father at the ranch One of her favourite things to do was draw.

June's unfortunate and untimely demise was the result of falling from the "stone boat", a horse-drawn sled used for piling up stones and hay bales pulled from the fields of the surrounding ranch lands.
