Jade Virani the daughter of Tricia Virani who becomes friends with Georgie. Jade later becomes the step-daughter of Dr. Yang and the step-sister of Parker.
History[]
When Jade is first introduced, it is her stealing a belt from outside of Maggie's Diner. She is then chased by Caleb Odell. It isn't until Tim Fleming meets up with Tricia Virani that it is revealed that she is the woman's daughter.
When her mother goes out of town, Tim Fleming brings her to Heartland Ranch where she and Georgie end up getting along together.
The next time she is seen is when she came to the Dude Ranch to get a job from Lou Fleming. After a conversation with Georgie, she decides to throw a party at the Dude Ranch, resulting in her being fired.
A reoccuring theme begins with her spending time at Heartland whenever her mom is out of town. The first time this occurs, she shows up in a new car, claiming it is a divorce gift from her parents. She joins Georgie in volunteering at Scott's clinic. While at the clinic, they are put under Cass's supervision and put in charge of getting a certain dogs pee and cleaning out kennels. When Jade disregards Cass's words about the snake, they end up losing it. Once seeing the snake had eaten, they grew afraid that it ate one of the patients. They tell Cass, who explains to them that the patient had been picked up before they came back from a walk. (Broken Heartland)
Another time that she is at Heartland is during a dinner where Tim decides to start up a rodeo school. She arrives late to his first class that had two male students. At first it is a way to impress the guy she liked, but she ended up enjoying it. The guy she liked asked her to hang out that evening, but it ends up with her crying as he treated her like a girl who only wanted to make out. The next class, after watching Caleb do a demonstration, she snuck over to the live bronc, she rode it briefly, before falling off. She shows off a smile on her face after falling. However due to her actions, she is kicked out. (Cowgirls Don't Cry)
When Jeff comes to visit, she rushes over to Heartland. She joins them for dinner where she flirts with him. The next morning, she comes by to flirt with him and invites him to an arts festival while Georgie would be at trick riding. During that time, she claims that she was in university. Despite being introduced in season 7, she's rarely appeared in episodes that fall under that number, only appearing in two.
She was mentioned in Riding Shotgun, the episode of which falls under the number 7.
She was only shown in the recap for Courage and Bluebird, which are the seventh episodes of seasons 14 and 15 respectively.
She seems to appear in more episodes that fall under the numbers 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, and 8 than 1, 7, and 9.
"Change of Course" is the only episode where she falls under a number ending in one.
"Highs and Lows" is the first episode where she appears earlier in a season.
She has made the most appearances in season 10 with a total of going 8 episodes.
None of the episodes in that season have her appearances fall under the 7 and 9 numbers.
Mallory Wells is the only character from the ranch that Jade has never met, but likely knows about her as Mallory was mentioned at Amy and Ty's wedding.
In the tenth season, Mallory did make a visit to Heartland for two episodes, but Jade did not appear in them, so their physical meet up remains in the air.
In most of her appearances, they relate to bronc riding.
It was until season 14 where Jade revealed she is not an only child, albeit not biologically as Parker is the child of anther dad, meaning the dad must've been the boyfriend Tricia was dating offscreen.
