Hank Adams is the father of Ruth Adams, Amy's teacher.
Ty checks on Boxer and and tells Amy that he doesn't seem to be settling in as he's not eating or drinking. She calls the owner, Hank, and asks him to visit. Ty goes to pick him up and brings him back to Heartland, he enjoys spending time with Boxer. He soon causes concern when he gets confused thinking he's at his barn and calls Amy Ruth, his daughter. Amy's teacher Ms Adams arrives furious that they have taken her father out the house telling them that he has Alzheimer's. He meets Jack and is adamant they've met before, when Ruth drags him home determined he won't visit again. Jack figures out where he met Hank before, he was one of Lyndy's lead guitarists on one of her records. Jack tells Amy that Hank got called back home and had to run the family dairy farm after his dad died. When Boxer goes missing she finds him with the cattle, cheering him up. When Ms Adams brings hank back Jack tells him that they have met before and plays him the record. He starts to remember and plays along with the song. (True Enough)
