Ghost from the Past is the ninth episode in the first season of the CBC drama Heartland. It originally aired January 20, 2008.

Synopsis

An old girlfriend of Ty's shows up at Heartland and stirs up trouble. Lou is reunited with Sugarfoot, Mrs. Bell's miniature horse.

Plot

After elderly Mrs. Bell has a heart attack, Amy takes in her pony Sugarfoot, to whom Lou grows surprisingly attached. Ty's old girlfriend from the juvenile group home shows up looking for him, having taken a job at Briar Ridge.
