Gallant Prince is Dan Hartfield's horse, he was a champion racehorse until a barn fire.
Ever since, he has been spooked and unpredictable. Amy tries to work with him and finds his old trainer, who was also caught in the fire trying to release the horses. He gets through to Prince and begins to make improvements.
