After the Storm is the second episode in Season 1 of Heartland. It aired October 21, 2007.

Summary

Lou sends an uncured horse back to its owner, which causes friction with Amy. Ty builds Amy a jumping ring and Jack decides to keep Ty on at Heartland.

Plot

Lou sends home Mrs. Roach's horse, despite the fact that his fear of vehicles is not cured. Val Stanton begins spreading rumors about Heartland and Amy Fleming lacking horse whispering skills from Marion. Ty's probation officer comes to the ranch while he is off showing Amy the jumping course he made for her. Jack agrees to be Ty's sponsor in the place of Marion.
