Synopsis[]
Amy and Ty worry about the impact a surprise visitor will have on Luke.
Plot[]
Luke's mother unexpectedly visits Heartland and gives Luke a drone. Amy and Ty worry about the impact the surprise visit will have on Luke. Tim suspects that Sam has stolen his horse, Champ; Tim borrows Luke's drone to aid in the investigation.

- Aside from the recap, Kirk does not appear in this episode.
- This is Andrea's first appearance this season.
- It's revealed she has gotten better and had gotten an apartment for when Luke moved back in with her.
- Thanks to Kirk's apology post, Amy and Ty's business is no longer in jeopardy.
- It's revealed that the client's horse, Ophilia, is more than just a model horse as Georgie uses her to pull a wagon and archery, which were first seen in seasons 8 and 10 respectively.
- Ty nearly called the police on Andrea when she took Luke to the movies in addition to getting ice cream.
- Katie and Lyndy get more screen time in this episode and actually have lines together, even though Lyndy doesn't speak.
- To cover for what happened to the drone Andrea gave Luke, Tim lies and says that it suffered technical difficulties when flying it, then says he bought him a new one.
- Another incidence where a character tried to tell a story to cover up the truth happened in the Nick series Alvin and the Chipmunks when Alvin lied to Simon saying he tried to test the car he build first before the latter would present that project in class, only to be caught in the end when the "Tech Toys" floated to the surface whereas Tim Fleming gets away with it in this episode.
