Clay Dawson comes to Heartland with his son, Cody and his horse Allegro since he's not winning any roping rodeos.
He tells Amy they need the horse by the weekend so Cody can catch up with his brother, Travis. When Amy realises that Cody's heart isn't into roping, but playing the piano, she ropes Jack into talking to Clay for her. He calls him over and starts trying to explain but Clay becomes annoyed thinking he and Amy are clueless about roping horses. Jack explains that he's really good at playing the piano and later they listen to Cody play both listening in awe. Clay tells Jack that if he could play like that he wouldn't want to rope either, showing his acceptance. Lou convinces Jack to give the old piano to Cody and they later attach it to their truck to take with them, thanking Jack and Amy. (The Fix)
