Brave New World is the 1st episode of Season 9 of Heartland. It aired October 4, 2015.
Synopsis[]
Amy and Ty are back from their honeymoon and Georgie is learning how to Roman Ride. After spotting an injured horse, Amy and Georgie attempt a rescue but are turned back after discovering a dangerous bear lurking near by and the horse has been injured by the bear. Ty and Amy work to treat the horse and Georgie intuits that the horse needs to be turned loose. Amy and Georgie follow Bear to another abandoned horse, which they rescue and bring back to Heartland. The second horse is given the name Buddy. Tim, Jack and Ty are remodelling the loft for both Amy and Ty. Lou and Peter try to pretend they are working out okay, but fight over custody arrangements and end up getting lawyers involved.
