Robert "Bob" Granger is a kind hearted business man who owns a Rehabilitation Centre for animals. He cares for buffalo, wolves, and more.
History[]
Bob is first introduced in Severed Ties when Georgie wants to visit an animal centre. Georgie had found a website called "Hooves for Hope", but soon found out it was a fake when Amy drove her there. As a result, Ty asked Scott if he knew any place that's legit so Ty can take Georgie. Georgie donates to Bob's shelter after seeing a wolf that's pregnant. Turns out that Bob is involved with some poachers that have been paying him just so he can keep the Rehabilitation centre open. Due to him making this choice, there were two female bears that were killed and harvested.
After Ty leaves Bob because of what he was doing, Bob realizes it was wrong. Wanting to make things right, Bob turns himself and the poachers in.
It is revealed in Back in the Saddle that he had served a short amount of jail time before returning to the reserve. When he reveals this to Ty, he begins to respect Bob once more.
Bob gets a call from the poachers boss a while into season nine. The boss demands that Bob gives him some bears to kill for their gall bladder in return for stacks of money. When Bob sternly declines, half of his rescue center is burned by the poacher, who then goes to jail. Bob thinks of quitting after putting Georgie, Adam, and Jade at risk when they run into the fire to save the animals, but Ty talks some sense into Bob so he makes sure he doesn't close the reserve and quit his job.
When both Ty and Bob learn of the killings of gobi bears, they both go to Mongolia together. He helps nurse Ty, enabling him to get on the plane back home, despite Ty ending up sick again after landing. He then joins Ty in going to save wolves.
