Be Careful What You Wish For is the eighteenth and final episode in the seventh season of the CBC drama Heartland. It originally aired April 13, 2014.
Synopsis[]
Caleb and Ty finally convince Amy to ride charger in the Futurity race. Lou feels bad because Georgie won't call her "Mom". Jack and Lisa make a decision about their future, and Tim figures out what it is. Ahmed gives Amy an offer she can't refuse.
Plot[]
Ty continues to try and talk to Amy but she tells him she is afraid he will make decisions like this in the future. Amy tells Ahmed that she wants her future to be with him as he asks for a commitment, while looking at her as more than an employee. Ty tells Amy that it is important for him to be an equal partner financially in their relationship. Amy tells Ty that she doesn't know what she wants for the future, making Ty worried. Amy sees what is wrong with Charger; Caleb uses another rider to make her jealous and Amy rides away with the win. Ahmed follows Amy and offers her a job with him in Europe for four months. Caleb and Ty then win the jackpot. Ty waits for Amy to put a down payment on the ranch, but holds off after she tells him about Ahmed's offer. As she leaves, Lou warns Amy to be careful of Ahmed. Ty is left uncertain of where he stands with Amy and what she wants. Lisa returns from France and spends time with Jack, who proposes marriage. They decide to elope at the Dude Ranch and Tim invites himself to the wedding. Georgie wants a trick saddle and her friendship with Stephen grows.

Trivia[]
- Peter returns after being absent upon returning from the book tour.
- This is the second we Georgie in her new pajamas.
- This is one of the episode where we see her hair down and in a beanie.
- The scene where Katie cries, then Lisa and Jack arguing and it waking the family up is a reference to the Jessie episode "Quitting Cold Koala" when Luke ended up waking up the entire penthouse complaining that he could not sleep without Kenny the Koala.
- Oddly, Amy did not wake up nor enter the living room like the others.
- It's revealed that one of the words Georgie would call one of her bio parents was "Dada", according to her brother. She also never knew her mom really well.
- Georgie works at Maggies in order to earn money for a saddle. To win Georgie's approval of calling her mom, Lou and Peter buy it for her since she didn't earn enough on her own.
- Georgie's skin looks really pale in the final scene before the credits.
- This is the second time where Amy has beaten a time by another competitor in a horse show by milliseconds. The last time that happened when she teamed up with Kit in order to catch a bull by the horns and feet.
- This is the final episode where Kiera and Jordan Habart play Katie Flemming Morris.
